Zac Burns

Board of Directors - Chair of Discovery Committee

Zac Burns is a principal systems architect and software engineer. He lives with his wife and two children in the San Francisco Bay Area. In late 2023, his then five-year-old son Leonardo was diagnosed with Myhre Syndrome after a protracted search for a more specific diagnosis than Autism.

Zac joined the MSF board of directors in 2024 as discovery committee chair with the primary goal of accelerating the discovery, development, and availability of treatments or a cure for Myhre Syndrome.

In his spare time, Zac enjoys indie games such as The Legend of Grimrock, Slay the Spire, Factorio, and Outer Wilds.
